Purpose:
Withinthe scope of modernization of the preparation plant of Jan-Karel, a new networkscrew centrifuge of the EBW 42 type was installed for dewatering of coarsesludge from the tops. The new centrifuge was installed in the room of thecurrent preparation plant.
Theaction included new transport routes for transportation of dewatered coal,steel bins and a system for discharging from the bins.
Basic technical parameters:
- centrifuge output 40 tons per hour
- conveyor line output 60 tons per hour
- transported material washed coal
- grain size 0 ¸ 3 mm
- concentration of the suspension supplied for dewatering 400 g/l
- bulk density of dewatered coal 800 ¸ 900 kg/m3
- output humidity 12 ¸ 18 %
- storing capacity of bins 2 x 33 t
- discharging output from the bins 120 tons per hour
