Introducing RPS Ostrava Corp.
The company's business focuses mainly on the storage and transport of all types of bulk materials, mineral resource processing, coking, biomass, ecological construction, storage and transport facilities. The services we currently offer include advice, consultation and intermediation.
History
RPS Ostrava Corp. was founded in 1997. It has been active since that time in both the Czech and foreign markets. The main business focus is on activities to do with engineering/supply, projecting, construction, the supply of technology units and steel construction in the area of energy, coking and the processing of raw minerals.
In the early years of its existence, the company's focus was on engineering/supply, the supply of technological parts and steel construction.
Beginning in 2001, the projecting division was substantially strengthened and RPS Ostrava began to engage in pre-project and project preparations for technology units for capital works in the area of processing all types of bulk materials.
Present
In 2006, the company began to work together with DRA Mineral Projects, headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa, which leads the African market in the construction of factories for raw minerals processing. As part of our continuing cooperation, we are taking part in preparing project implementation and manufacturing documentation for the processing of raw minerals.
The company is seeking active cooperation with the Bulk Materials Laboratory at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TU Ostrava). As part of this cooperative activity, company employees are ready to solve problems arising from the storage and handling of bulk materials. This primarily involves interruptions in material flow in bins and silos, arching, ceiling of transfer point, dedusting of transfer points, etc. Concrete customer problems are resolved on the basis of a thorough analysis and the results of measurement at the BML laboratory facilities of VŠB-TU Ostrava. Our design proposals may be implemented on a turnkey basis.
RPS Ostrava is one of the founding members of the "Czech Association for Powdered Materials", which was created in 2008 to provide for cooperation between Czech companies engaged in transport and storage of powdered materials.
Currently, RPS Ostrava is taking part in the implementation of a series of successful projects for important partners in the Czech Republic and abroad. (Selected projects are indicated on the reference page.
The employees of RPS Ostrava have the experience and appropriate certification to carry out the activities of the company. These are primarily:
- Authorization under Law 360/1992 of the legal code as amended by Law 164/1993 of the legal code and Law 275/1994 of the legal code.
- Authorization for activities under Art. 2 Letters b) and d) and Art. 3, Letter a) of Law 61/1988 of the legal code.
- Certification of professional expertise for carrying out activities under the provisions of Art. 4 Letter e) of CBU Decree 298/2005 of the legal code as amended by CBU Decree 240/2006 of the legal code.
